View Comments The Give A Shit Charity Project was started in June of this year in an effort to use this blog to contribute something useful to the world. The premise was a lot of people making small donations could add up to a sizable donation, allowing people that can’t write four to six figure checks to support an important cause.
Since its inception, hundreds of you have donated anywhere from 25 cents to 50 dollars to support the various charities each month. The total amount of donations this year (including the current total in this month’s coffer) is $1198.91. Although this isn’t a huge number, it’s a lot larger than I thought it would be in the first year.
I wanted to take a minute to thank each and every one of you that gave your time and money to support this project. This will be the last time I panhandle for donations this year, and my donation to this month’s charity, the My Stuff Bags Foundation, will go out on Christmas eve. If you feel so inclined to help these kids out throw some loot into the coffer. Happy Holidays and thanks again.

View Comments Artist Glen Brogan’s gives us a look into Mario’s morning ritual. From his blog:
This one started out as a simple idea and turned into something a little more complex. When my designs go up for voting I always get the inevitable complaints (you just can’t make everybody happy) but I sort of feel like I’m throwing myself to the wolves with this one. The reason being that I had to come up with rules for what I should and shouldn’t include as part of Mario’s wardrobe. I wanted to include as many of his power-ups as possible, but the main rule I had to follow was that I couldn’t include things that actually transform Mario himself rather that just changing his wardrobe, like the Boo mushroom from Mario Galaxy that turns him into a ghost. So I’ve mentally prepared myself for the barage of “OMG WHY DIDNT U INCLUDE THIS 1 ON THERE U R DUM.” I don’t mind constructive critisicm, but sometimes it feels like people complain just to do it. If only they knew how much thought I actually put into these!
If you want, you can vote for this to become a tee print also.
