“Troy would definitely be a Spider-Man fan. He wrote a comic book that’s included as an extra in the season-one DVD. He’s a hybrid of nerd and jock. Nerds and jocks overlap in the area of bad-ass stuff, like robots and things that kill things … video games and total domination of this and that … And it’s definitely a cutesy inside wink at the Donald Glover for Spider-Man campaign, and the curious eruption of a previously unknown demographic of racist comic-book readers it ended up uncovering.”

Worst case scenario, it could have been the worst movie ever and still wouldn’t have been as bad as Spider Man 3.

Stephen Colbert testified before the House Judiciary Committee’s immigration subcommittee on the subject of the United Farm Workers’ “Take Our Jobs” campaign, which invited legal citizens and residents to replace undocumented workers in the fields. Colbert used his program in the past to highlight this initiative by performing field labor for a day.

“I don’t want a tomato picked by a Mexican. I want it picked by an American, sliced by a Guatemalan . . . and served in a spa where a Chilean gives me a Brazilian.”
