In what seems to be an effort at being one of the most bike-friendly metropolitan areas in the country, the bikeshare programs from DC and Arlington, VA have joined forces to make 1,100 bicycles available to their residents at over 110 stations across the area.

Memberships vary from as little as a week up to a year.  The first 30 minutes of each trip are free, with each additional 30 minutes incurring an additional fee.
