Another Back To The Future Side-By-Side Video

by Endswell 1 year, 1 month ago View Comments

Justin Taormina put this video together comparing the scene where Marty opens the garage from BTTF and BTTF Part II, presumably so we can all see that Claudia Wells was the hotter Jennifer Parker.  Yeah I said it.

Lightning Captured By X-Ray Camera For First Time

by Endswell 1 year, 1 month ago View Comments

The first x-ray images of a lightning strike were captured in a Camp Blanding, Florida lightning storm by a special camera that takes 10 million images a second.  The lightning bolt was triggered by rockets with wires attached to them that directed the lightning bolt into the camera’s field of view.  Although resolution was sacrificed to allow 10 million images a second to be stored properly, it was good enough to show that the majority of x-ray radiation emitted from a lightning bolt is in the tip, with little to no residual radiation on the trail.

Bad Science In Movies
