Robin Mahfood, CEO.
Food For The Poor | Thanks Jeff.
Umm, actually, they seem to be pretty much legit. There was a conflict-of-interest scandal in 2000, which also involved Mahfood’s father being involved with two of his employees. Other than that, however, they seem solid–they’re doing yeoman’s work in Haiti, for example, and their operating costs remain around 2% of revenue, compared with 8% for the Red Cross, the benchmark for charity efficiency. “Robin Mahfood” is an odd, even unfortunate name, but he appears to be on the up-and-up.
