In the Pulp Fiction-themed “Critical Film Studies” episode of Community, Abed told Jeff about his visit to the set of Cougar Town, including how he pooped his pants while becoming immersed in his character “Chad”. In a great move on NBC’s part, they brought the gag full circle, featuring Abed’s scene in last night’s Subway-sponsored season finale of Cougar Town.
