Last night, on the 66th anniversary of the deadliest industrial accident in American history, a fertilizer plant in West, Texas (a small town 18 miles north of Waco, Texas) exploded with devastating results. Early reports state that “every house within about four blocks is blown apart.” With 15 people killed and more than 160 others injured so far, a search is on for survivors. Those numbers, tragically, are expected to rise quickly and have already risen while I’ve been writing this post.

I’ve been following The Atlantic Wire and Reddit’s thread for updates and resources.
