For almost two decades, Supreme has existed in a cult-like bubble. Many of their short-run products have a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shelf-life; you’ll pretty much never, ever receive an invite to some Supreme-sponsored open-bar fête (because they almost never happen); and unless you’ve been systematically tracking its product developments on the array of feverish blogs devoted to the brand, or know a mole on the inside who can text you when a new shipment has been delivered, you’ll miss out entirely.

Mishka: How We Made It In America

The founders of Brooklyn-based label Mishka speak on their new graphic they made for HBO’s upcoming season of How To Make It In America, as well as the parallels between the show and their own origins.

Besides getting our name and mugs on TV this is all pretty friggin’ cool considering the show’s plot line basically runs in sync to Greg’s and my own frustration, struggles and adventures in getting Мишка off the ground. For the bumper, the show came to our headquarters and did a short interview segment with Greg, our art director Mike Jones and Myself about the early days of the brand and our inspiration to get it started.

Along with this we also did a design for the show which was turned into a tee, raglan and pullover hoodie design that will only be available via Jack Threads for a limited time… and by “limited time” I mean just under three days.

The raglan, hoodie, and tee will be available here. How To Make It In America returns October 2nd.
